Privacy Policy

This Privacy Policy is designed to inform users about our practices concerning the collection, utilization, and disclosure of Personal Information when you use the Calm Ball Sort - Puzzle Therapy app (hereinafter referred to as the "Service"). By choosing to use our Service, you acknowledge and consent to the collection and use of information in accordance with the terms outlined in this Policy. The definitions of terms used herein are consistent with those in our Terms of Service. The Personal Information we gather is solely intended to support the provision and enhancement of the Service, and we will not use or share your information with any third party except as explicitly stated in this Privacy Policy.

1. Information We Collect

We only collect information that is necessary to improve the Service and ensure a smooth user experience. The types of information we may collect include:

Account-related information: When you log in for the first time using Google, we will receive your email address, full name, and profile picture. This information is used solely to verify your identity and link it to your app account.

Advertising Identifier (GAID): We use your devices GAID to detect potential fraudulent activities (such as fake user accounts or improper reward claims) and to deliver personalized ads within the app, as required by our ad partners.

IP address: Your devices IP address is collected to identify your approximate geographic location (e.g., country or region) and to troubleshoot network-related issues (such as failed ad loading or reward processing errors).

Device information: This includes the timestamp of your app usage, system language set on your device, device model (e.g., iPhone 15 or Samsung Galaxy S24), screen resolution and display settings, device time zone, and operating system version (e.g., iOS 18 or Android 15). This data helps us optimize the apps performance for different devices.

Log information: We collect logs related to app behavior (e.g., which puzzle levels you played, how long you used the app) and crash reports. These logs are critical for monitoring the apps operational status, fixing technical bugs (such as sudden app crashes), and continuously enhancing the user experience.

Installed apps (with your explicit approval): To display video ads, we integrate the AppLovin SDK. At the apps first launch, this SDK may request access to the list of apps installed on your device. If you do not wish to share this information, you can decline the request directly. Importantly, this information is only accessed by AppLovin; our team (the developer of Calm Ball Sort - Puzzle Therapy) has no access to or control over this data.

2. How We Use Your Information

The information we collect is strictly used to fulfill the following purposes, and we will never use it for unstated or unrelated goals:

To provide and maintain the Service: For example, your email address is used to identify your unique account, track your puzzle progress (e.g., which levels you have completed), and record reward-related records (such as rewards you earned from completing tasks). When processing reward payouts, we use the payment account information you provide to ensure you receive the rewards you are entitled to. Additionally, we indirectly use your GAID (as required by third-party ad providers) to display ads and task notifications in the app.

To communicate with you: We will contact you via your registered email address in two specific scenarios: (1) when you submit a request to delete your account or data, to confirm the details of your request; (2) when there are major changes to this Privacy Policy or our Terms of Service, to inform you of the updates and their potential impact on your rights.

To provide customer support: When you reach out with questions (e.g., issues with puzzle mechanics or reward redemption) or report technical problems (e.g., app freezes), we use your email address to respond to your inquiries and investigate and resolve the reported issues.

3. How We Disclose Your Information

We take the protection of your information seriously and will not disclose your Personal Information to any third party except in the following limited circumstances:

Sharing of GAID with ad partners: Your GAID may be shared with our third-party ad providers (e.g., AppLovin). This is a necessary step to enable the display of ads in the app and to provide you with task opportunities (e.g., ad-watching tasks for rewards). These ad partners are contractually obligated to use your GAID only for ad delivery and fraud detection, and not for any other purpose.

Corporate transactions: In the event of a corporate sale, merger, acquisition, or bankruptcy, your information may be disclosed to the involved third party (e.g., the acquiring company) as part of the overall evaluation of the business. However, the receiving party will be required to comply with this Privacy Policy and maintain the same level of protection for your information.

4. How We Protect Your Information

We implement a range of technical and administrative security measures to safeguard your Personal Information from unauthorized access, use, or disclosure:

Data encryption: All information transmitted between your device and our servers (e.g., your login data and reward records) is encrypted using Transport Layer Security (TLS) protocol. Additionally, data stored on our servers (such as your email address and account details) is encrypted at rest to prevent unauthorized access.

Access controls: We enforce strict technical and administrative access controls to limit which of our employees and contractors can access non-public Personal Information. Only personnel who need the information to perform specific job functions (e.g., customer support staff handling your inquiries) are granted access, and they are required to sign confidentiality agreements.

5. Data Retention

We retain your Personal Information only for as long as it is necessary to fulfill the purposes for which it was collected or to comply with applicable legal requirements. Once the information is no longer needed, we will securely delete or anonymize it.

General retention rule: When you submit a request to delete your account and data, and the request is approved, most of your data (such as your puzzle progress and app usage logs) will be deleted immediately and will no longer be accessible.

Exception for payout accounts: To prevent duplicate reward claims (e.g., multiple claims of the "new user reward" using the same payment account, as specified in our Terms of Service), we may retain your payment account information for a reasonable period after your data deletion request is approved. This retention period will end once we confirm that the information is no longer needed to prevent fraud. Importantly, personally identifiable information (such as your name, profile picture, and email address) will be deleted immediately upon approval of your deletion request, regardless of the payment account retention.

6. How to Request Data Deletion

If you wish to delete your account and all related data (including your puzzle progress, reward records, and personal information), you can do so through one of the following two methods:

  1. In-app request: Open the Calm Ball Sort - Puzzle Therapy app, navigate to the "Feedback" page (usually found in the apps "Settings" or "Me" section), and submit a data deletion request directly through the provided form.
  2. Email request: Send an email to our support team at h27586799@gmail.com, including your registered email address (the one used to log in to the app) and a clear statement of your request to delete your account and data. Our team will verify your identity and process your request within a reasonable timeframe.

7. Log Data

We want to inform you that whenever you use our Service, if an error occurs in the app (e.g., the app crashes or freezes), we may collect certain data and information (through third-party tools) from your device, which we refer to as "Log Data." This Log Data may include: your devices IP address, device name, operating system version, the apps configuration settings when the error occurred (e.g., which puzzle level you were playing), the date and time of the error, and other relevant statistical data. This information is used exclusively to identify the cause of the error, fix technical issues, and prevent similar problems from recurring.

8. Cookies

Cookies are small files containing a limited amount of data, typically used as anonymous unique identifiers. They are sent from websites to your browser and stored in your devices internal memory. Our Service does not explicitly use cookies for its core functions (e.g., puzzle gameplay or account management).

However, the app may integrate third-party code or libraries (such as those from ad providers or analytics tools) that use cookies to collect information (e.g., ad interaction data) and improve their own services. You have the right to accept or refuse these cookies: most devices and browsers allow you to adjust cookie settings (e.g., block all cookies or receive a notification when a cookie is sent). Please note that if you choose to refuse these cookies, some features of the Service (such as personalized ads or certain analytics-related functions) may not work properly.

Additionally, with your explicit permission to access your devices contact list, we may upload your contact information to our servers for two specific purposes: (1) detecting fraudulent activities (e.g., preventing users from creating multiple accounts using the same contact details); and (2) synchronizing contact-related features (if the app includes such functions in the future, e.g., inviting contacts to play the app).

9. Third-Party Service Providers

We may engage third-party companies or individuals to assist us in operating the Service. These third parties are only involved in the following specific tasks and have no authority to use your information beyond what is necessary to complete their assigned work:

Facilitating the Service (e.g., cloud service providers that host our apps data).

Providing the Service on our behalf (e.g., payment processors that handle reward payouts).

Performing Service-related tasks (e.g., ad providers that display ads in the app).

Assisting us in analyzing Service usage (e.g., analytics tools that help us understand how users interact with the app).

We ensure that all third-party service providers sign a confidentiality agreement, which obligates them to: (1) only access the Personal Information necessary to perform their tasks; (2) not disclose or use the information for any purpose other than the tasks assigned by us; and (3) implement adequate security measures to protect the information.

10. Security Disclaimer

We highly value your trust in providing us with your Personal Information and strive to protect it using commercially acceptable security measures (as outlined in Section 4). However, it is important to note that no method of data transmission over the internet or electronic storage is 100% secure or error-proof. We cannot guarantee the absolute security of your information, and you acknowledge that there is a small risk of unauthorized access, disclosure, or loss of data despite our best efforts.

11. Links to Third-Party Sites

Our Service may contain links to third-party websites or services (e.g., links to ad partners privacy policies or social media pages). If you click on any of these third-party links, you will be redirected to the respective site, which is not operated or controlled by us.

We strongly advise you to review the privacy policies and terms of service of these third-party sites before using their services. We have no control over the content, privacy practices, or operations of any third-party sites or services, and we assume no responsibility for any loss or damage you may incur from using them.

12. Childrens Privacy

Our Service is not intended for use by children under the age of 13, and we do not knowingly collect Personal Information from children under 13. If we discover (through verification or user reports) that a child under 13 has provided us with Personal Information (such as an email address or name), we will immediately delete this information from our servers and terminate the associated account.

If you are a parent or guardian and become aware that your child under 13 has used our Service and provided Personal Information, please contact us immediately at h27586799@gmail.com so that we can take prompt action to remove the information and address the issue.

13. Changes to This Privacy Policy

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time to reflect changes in our service practices, legal requirements, or technological advancements. When we make changes, we will post the revised Privacy Policy on this page (within the app or on our official website, if applicable) and update the "Last Updated" date at the top of the Policy.

These changes will take effect immediately upon being posted. We encourage you to review this Privacy Policy periodically to stay informed about how we are protecting your information. Your continued use of the Service after the changes are posted constitutes your acceptance of the revised Policy.

14. Contact Us

Our support team will respond to your inquiry within 5-7 business days and assist you in resolving the issue.
